Job Summary
Conduct daily and deep cleaning of resident rooms, bathrooms, and common areas using vacuums, floor cleaners, and buffers. Dust furniture, wet-mop halls, and disinfect fixtures while adhering to infection control and isolation procedures. Operate environmental services equipment safely, maintain personal hygiene, and ensure all documentation is completed daily. Gather and dispose of trash, deliver linen to departments, and make supply packs according to established par levels. Treat residents with dignity, maintain confidentiality, and report any noncompliance, abuse allegations, or occupational exposures immediately to supervisors.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED diploma preferred
- Current/ Active Food Handlers Permit (ALF Only)
- Must be able to read, write, speak and understand the English language
- Must be able to add, subtract, multiply and perform basic math computations as needed
Desired Qualifications
- Previous long term care experience preferred
