Job Summary
Conduct constant foot patrols and monitor premises outdoors in all weather conditions to detect irregularities and respond to emergencies. Answer incoming lines, use modern technology to monitor alarm signals, and dispatch security personnel per standard operations manuals. Write detailed incident reports daily, review security footage for investigations, and communicate with local law enforcement or fire departments as necessary. Deescalate tenant or customer conflicts while maintaining professional standards and ethical conduct. Work individually or as a team to respond to incidents and requests for assistance. This full-time role includes 2nd or 3rd shift coverage with medical, dental, and vision insurance, paid vacation, sick days, and a 401K plan.
Required Qualifications
- Excellent oral and written communications, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Computer literacy
- Working in MS Windows, Outlook, and One Note
- Minimum of 2 years of Security experience
- Dependable means of transportation
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English (both written and verbal)
- High School Diploma/GED Equivalent
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must be able to successfully pass ALL pre-employment background, and drug screenings
- Must be able to remain alert and active with majority of the shift on foot
- Must be able to deescalate irate tenant/customer calls/ access requests
- Must be able to work individually and as a team to respond to incidents
- Must be able to remain calm and work well in a fast paced environment
- Ability to solve conflict/problem solve
- Maintain the highest ethical and professional standards
- Must be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Must be able to respond to emergency situations
- Must be able to write incident reports
- Must be able to use modern technology to monitor a variety of alarm signals
- Must be able to conduct investigations of incidents
- Must be able to communicate with local law enforcement units and fire departments as necessary

- Must be able to maintain Proper use, completion and submission of all forms associated with patrol activities and/or duties
- Must be able to respond to requests for assistance and evaluate appropriate courses of action
- Must be able to comply with all requirements/directives within the on-site operations manual/post orders
- Must be able to assume other duties as required by either Client or Northeast Security, Inc
