Job Summary
Security Officer responsible for patrols and access control to ensure safety and order at ParkX Management properties. Duties include hourly patrols using security systems, enforcing policies, issuing banning notices, maintaining plaza kiosks, managing valet at Reston Station, assisting with events, and reporting safety concerns to management. Requires Maryland security officer certification and a High School Diploma, plus 1+ year of customer-service experience, valid MD driver’s license, and flexibility to work after hours and weekends. Strong communication, integrity, and ability to relate to diverse groups are essential.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- Must be certified security officer by the state of Maryland
- Minimum of at least 1 year experience in customer-service related field
- Valid driver's license without major violations
- Flexibility to work after hours and weekends
- Outgoing personality with ability to relate to diverse group of people and build/maintain strong relationships
- Strong sense of urgency
- Strong problem-solving, time management and communication skills
- Must be highly credible and trustworthy, and operate with high degree of integrity
- Must hold oneself and others accountable and strive for a high level of excellence
