Job Summary
Full-Time Security Officer (Armed) on the SubTropolis security team in Kansas City, MO. Responsible for patrolling designated SubTropolis areas, enforcing company policies and local laws, responding to incidents including trespass, disturbances, motor vehicle accidents, and medical emergencies, and conducting routine safety inspections. Provides courteous customer service to tenants, employees, and visitors, completes timely incident and inspection reports, and maintains confidentiality and professional conduct. Must hold a valid Class A Armed Private Security Officer License, possess a driver’s license for patrol vehicles, and be prepared for pre-employment psychological evaluation; prior armed security experience is highly valued. The role includes shift scheduling (Saturday to Wednesday, 12 AM – 8 AM) with comprehensive benefits and company-provided equipment.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A Armed Private Security Officer License issued by the Kansas City Board of Police Commissioners
- Possession of a valid driver’s license for operating company vehicles on patrol
- Successful completion of a pre-employment psychological evaluation
- One year of experience as an armed security officer (preferred but stated as the ideal candidate)
