Job Summary
Load and transport food carts and supplies to satellite cafeterias and the School Nutrition program; drive the campus food truck, assist in unloading and distribution, and maintain cleanliness and safety of the truck and storerooms. Ensure safe and sanitary transportation of foods, store and issue supplies as directed, and coordinate with staff. Maintain compliance with food-service policies, sanitation standards, and regulatory guidelines; perform duties with professionalism and reliability, including lifting up to 50 pounds and working extended hours with potential districtwide travel.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent desirable
- Completion of the two-hour food Sanitation Training Course conducted by the County Health Department is required
- A valid Texas Driver’s License is required
- This position subject to random drug-testing
- Previous experience in light truck driving is desirable
