Job Summary
Greet guests with a friendly attitude, answer questions about store merchandise, and recommend products based on guest needs. Check out purchases, bag items, and prepare merchandise for alterations while maintaining a clean, organized store. Manage visual merchandise displays, handle freight, and perform price markdowns to maximize sales and turn. Open and close cash registers, balance drawers, and process payments using POS procedures. Recognize and prevent security risks, conduct bag checks, and follow loss prevention guidelines. Communicate policy violations and guest concerns to management, and consistently meet personal sales and performance goals.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, which may include mornings, evenings, and weekends, and the day of/day after Thanksgiving and Christmas, based upon store and business needs.
- Physical ability to lift and maneuver 30lbs throughout the store and backroom.
