Job Summary
Achieve individual sales goals by proactively engaging Pro customers to identify current and future project opportunities and build relationships. Develop a deep understanding of customer business needs to create and manage quotes, blueprints, material lists, and deliveries aligned to project timelines. Prospect for new Pro customers by walking the sales floor and reviewing Top Accounts, while utilizing expanded inventory capabilities to win sales when products are unavailable in-store. Coordinate fulfillment, delivery, and follow-up activities to ensure projects complete accurately and on time. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized Pro Desk area while supporting overall store operations. Leverage training platforms to improve selling skills and promote Pro Credit and Loyalty Programs to generate new accounts.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- General Studies
- External experience in customer-facing sales
- 6 months of Lowe's retail experience
- 1 year of sales experience
- Ability to identify and sell products based on customer needs
- 1 year of experience providing customer service
- Ability to identify and resolve customer issues
- Ability to assist customers with locating products
- Ability to greet customers
- Ability to answer phones
- Ability to build relationships with customers
- Ability to thank customers for their business
- Ability to obtain sales-related licensure or registration as required by law
Desired Qualifications
- Associate degree
- 1 year of experience entering and submitting customer sales orders
- 1 year of experience identifying and selling products based on customer needs or plans
- 1 year experience following up on outstanding or incomplete customer orders, sales, or installs
- 1 year of experience promoting product-related services and plans
- 1 year of experience in a sales environment with required sales goals or metrics
- Bi- Lingual
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Working knowledge of Excel
- Working knowledge of Teams
- Professional certification related to the specialist's department
