Job Summary
Sales Specialist at Lowe's in the Millwork department will actively move through the store interacting with customers, assess project needs, explain product specifications, features, promotions and financing options to close sales. You’ll serve as a product expert within the department (e.g., Appliances, Cabinets, Flooring, Millwork, Windows & Walls) and may handle external accounts in Pro, price reviews, inventory coordination with vendors, schedule installer visits, process and track orders, and ensure project completion. You will also train associates on the sales floor and coach development needs, with opportunities to assist in pricing, vendor coordination, and cross-department collaboration. The role emphasizes customer service, problem-solving, and achieving sales goals while supporting discretionary programs and benefits offered by Lowe's.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1 year experience in customer-facing sales or 6 months Lowe’s retail experience
- 1 year of experience in sales or customer service in a sales environment with required sales goals or metrics
- Able to Read, write, and perform basic arithmetic
- Able to stand and sit for prolonged periods
- Minimally lift 25lbs unassisted or over 25lbs with or without an accommodation
- Obtain sales-related licensure or registration if required by law in your state (Lowe's will support and fund this requirement)
