Job Summary
Sales Specialists at Lowe's in the Millwork area are active in-store roles, engaging customers, discussing project needs, informing customers about product specifications, promotions, and financing options to close sales, handling product knowledge across multiple departments, and coordinating orders, installations, and follow-ups to ensure project completion. The role includes customer service focus, potential training of associates, budget-conscious pricing reviews, and department support across Appliance, Cabinets, Flooring, Millwork, and related areas, with opportunities for additional responsibilities and growth within a fast-paced home improvement environment.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1 year experience in customer-facing sales or 6 months of Lowe’s retail experience
- 1 year of experience in sales or customer service in a sales environment with required sales goals or metrics
- Able to Read, write, and perform basic arithmetic
- Able to stand and sit for prolonged periods
- Minimally lift 25lbs; 75 lbs for team lifts
- Obtain sales-related licensure or registration if required by state (Lowe's will support and fund this)
