Job Summary
Sales Specialist in the Millwork department at Lowe’s: engage customers throughout the store, understand project needs, discuss product specifications and financing options, and help close sales by translating customer requirements into product solutions. Serve as a product expert across departments (Appliances, Cabinets, Flooring, Millwork, etc.), provide project estimates, process and track orders/installations, and support pricing and documentation. Train associates on the sales floor, coach development needs, and adapt to a fast-paced retail environment while promoting customer service excellence and collaboration with vendors and other stores.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1 year of experience in customer-facing sales or 6 months Lowe’s retail experience (or 3 years of external experience in customer-facing sales or 18 months of Lowe’s retail experience if education requirement is not met)
- Ability to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic
- Able to stand and sit for prolonged periods
- Minimum lifting of 25 lbs
- Ability to obtain sales-related licensure or registration if required by state
