Job Summary
Sales Specialist at Lowe's to engage customers across departments (Appliances, Cabinets, Flooring, Millwork, Live Nursery, Tool Rental, Pro, Windows & Walls), identify project needs, explain product specifications, features, and financing options, process and track orders/installations, coordinate installer visits, maintain pricing and inventory, and train teammates on floor activities and customer service.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1 year experience in customer-facing sales or 6 months of Lowe’s retail experience (Or 3 years of external experience in customer-facing sales or 18 months of Lowe’s retail experience if education requirement is not met)
- 1 year of experience in sales or customer service in a sales environment with required sales goals or metrics
- Able to Read, write, and perform basic arithmetic
- Able to stand and sit for prolonged periods
- Minimally lift 25lbs unassisted or over 25lbs with or without an accommodation
- Obtain sales-related licensure or registration if required by law in your state (Lowe's will support and fund this requirement)
