Job Summary
Sales Specialist in Millwork at Lowe's responsible for active in-store customer engagement, understanding project needs, presenting product specifications and financing options, and driving sales. Roles include serving as a product expert across departments (e.g., Appliances, Cabinets, Flooring, Millwork, Windows & Walls), providing project estimates, scheduling installations, processing orders, and coordinating with vendors. Responsibilities also cover price reviews, inventory support, training teammates on sales floor, and assisting in all checkout functions to help customers close sales, with emphasis on customer service and achieving sales goals in a fast-paced retail environment.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1 year experience in customer-facing sales or 6 months of Lowe’s retail experience
- 1 year of experience in sales or customer service in a sales environment with required sales goals or metrics
- Able to Read, write, and perform basic arithmetic
- Able to stand and sit for prolonged periods
- Minimally lift 25lbs unassisted or over 25lbs with or without an accommodation
- Obtain sales-related licensure or registration if required by law in your state
