Job Summary
Sales Specialists at Lowe's in Flooring are active in-store, engaging customers to understand project needs, explain product specifications, features, and financing options, and help close sales while moving throughout the store and coordinating with vendors and installers as needed. Responsibilities include answering questions, providing project estimates, scheduling installer visits, processing and tracking customer orders, maintaining pricing and documentation, supporting checkout functions, and training teammates on department duties. The role spans departments such as Appliances, Cabinets, Flooring, Live Nursery, Millwork, and more, with a focus on delivering SMART customer service and meeting or exceeding sales goals. Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1 year experience in customer-facing sales or 6 months of Lowe’s retail experience (Or 3 years of external experience in customer-facing sales or 18 months of Lowe’s retail experience if education requirement is not met)
- 1 year of experience in sales or customer service in a sales environment with required sales goals or metrics
- Able to Read, write, and perform basic arithmetic
- Able to stand and sit for prolonged periods
- Minimally lift 25lbs unassisted or over 25lbs with or without an accommodation
- Obtain sales-related licensure or registration if required by law in your state (Lowe's will support and fund this requirement)
