Job Summary
Sales Specialist at Lowe's responsible for actively engaging customers in-store, assessing project needs, explaining product specifications and financing options, and guiding customers to complete purchases across departments such as Flooring, Appliances, Cabinets, Live Nursery, Millwork, and more. Will provide product expertise, discuss promotions, coordinate with vendors, estimate costs, schedule installer visits, process orders, and train fellow associates to uphold high standards of customer service and sales performance.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1 year experience in customer-facing sales or 6 months of Lowe’s retail experience
- 1 year of experience in sales or customer service in a sales environment with required sales goals or metrics
- Able to Read, write, and perform basic arithmetic
- Able to stand and sit for prolonged periods
- Minimally lift 25lbs unassisted or over 25lbs with or without an accommodation
- Obtain sales-related licensure or registration if required by law in your state (Lowe's will support and fund this requirement)
- Travel requirements: minimal travel as described
