Job Summary

Sales Specialist at Lowe's in the Cabinets/related divisions, actively engaging customers in-store, discussing project needs, explaining product specifications, promotions, and financing options to close sales. Responsibilities include acting as a product expert, handling orders/installations, coordinating with vendors and stores, providing project estimates, scheduling installer visits, training associates, and maintaining pricing and inventory as needed. The role may involve external account focus in the Pro department, with emphasis on customer service, cross-selling, and delivering a consultative sales experience within a fast-paced home-improvement environment. Emphasis on helping customers achieve their home projects, answering questions, and guiding them to solutions and services to complete purchases.

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 1 year of experience in customer-facing sales or 6 months of Lowe’s retail experience (or 3 years external sales or 18 months Lowe’s retail if education not met)
  • 1 year of experience in sales or customer service in a sales environment with required sales goals or metrics
  • Able to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic
  • Able to stand and sit for prolonged periods
  • Able to lift minimally 25lbs unassisted or over 25lbs with accommodation
  • Obtain sales-related licensure or registration if required by state (Lowe's will support and fund this)
