Job Summary
Sales Specialist at Lowe's in the Cabinets department delivering proactive in-store support, product expertise, and customer-focused service. Responsibilities include engaging customers, understanding project needs, communicating product specs, promotions, and financing options to close sales, estimating projects, coordinating installations, processing orders, supporting pricing and inventory management, training and coaching teammates, and driving department goals in a fast-paced retail environment. The role may involve external accounts or Pro department activities and requires strong product knowledge, problem-solving, and collaboration with vendors and store teams.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1 year experience in customer-facing sales or 6 months of Lowe’s retail experience
- 1 year of experience in sales or customer service in a sales environment with required sales goals or metrics
- Able to Read, write, and perform basic arithmetic
- Able to stand and sit for prolonged periods
- Minimally lift 25lbs unassisted or over 25lbs with or without an accommodation
- Obtain sales-related licensure or registration if required by law in your state (Lowe's will support and fund this requirement)
