Job Summary

Sales Specialists at Lowe's will be among the first associates customers meet, discussing project needs and helping transform ideas into reality. They act as product experts within departments such as Cabinets, Appliances, Flooring, and more, communicating specifications, promotions, financing options, and closing sales while guiding customers through orders, installations, and follow-ups. The role involves active customer engagement, inventory awareness, price reviews, vendor coordination, and potential on-the-job training of colleagues to support department goals. The position emphasizes customer service, product knowledge, and collaboration across store teams to meet sales targets and assist customers in achieving home improvement projects.

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 1 year experience in customer-facing sales or 6 months of Lowe’s retail experience (Or 3 years of external experience in customer-facing sales or 18 months of Lowe’s retail experience if education requirement is not met)
  • 1 year of experience in sales or customer service in a sales environment with required sales goals or metrics
  • Able to Read, write, and perform basic arithmetic
  • Able to stand and sit for prolonged periods
  • Minimally lift 25lbs unassisted or over 25lbs with or without an accommodation
  • Obtain sales-related licensure or registration if required by law in your state (Lowe's will support and fund this requirement)
