Job Summary

Sales Specialist in the Cabinets department at Lowe's, responsible for actively engaging customers, assessing project needs, informing customers on product specifications, features, promotions, and financing options, and helping drive sales. Responsibilities include serving as a point of contact within the department, providing project estimates, scheduling installer visits, processing and tracking orders/installations, maintaining pricing and documentation, supporting checkout functions, and training associates on the sales floor. The role may involve working in multiple departments based on hiring needs and includes opportunities to interact with external accounts and possibly outside sales in the Pro department.

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 1 year of experience in customer-facing sales or 6 months Lowe's retail experience (Or 3 years of external experience in customer-facing sales or 18 months of Lowe's retail experience if education requirement is not met)
  • 1 year of experience in sales or customer service in a sales environment with required sales goals or metrics
  • Able to Read, write, and perform basic arithmetic
  • Able to stand and sit for prolonged periods
  • Minimally lift 25lbs unassisted or over 25lbs with or without an accommodation
  • Obtain sales-related licensure or registration if required by law in your state (Lowe's will support and fund this requirement)
