Job Summary
Sales Specialist in Cabinets at Lowe's who engages customers on the sales floor, understands project needs, explains product specifications, features, promotions, and financing options, and closes sales by delivering expert consulting and personalized service. Responsibilities include serving as a point of contact for customers and vendors within the department, providing project estimates, scheduling installer visits, processing and tracking orders/installations, maintaining pricing and documentation, supporting checkout processes, training associates on the sales floor, and coaching around development needs. The role spans departments such as Appliances, Cabinets, Flooring, Live Nursery, Millwork, and more; travel is not a primary requirement, and the position emphasizes in-store activity, customer service, and collaboration with teams to meet sales goals.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1 year experience in customer-facing sales or 6 months of Lowe’s retail experience
- 1 year of experience in sales or customer service in a sales environment with required sales goals or metrics
- Able to Read, write, and perform basic arithmetic
- Able to stand and sit for prolonged periods
- Obtaining sales-related licensure or registration if required by state (Lowe's will support and fund this requirement)
