Job Summary
Sales Specialist at Lowe's, actively engaging customers in-store to understand needs, explain product specifications and promotions, close sales, process orders and installations, coordinate installer visits, and provide on-the-job training to associates. Roles may include responsibilities in multiple departments (Appliances, Cabinets, Flooring, Live Nursery, Millwork, Fashion Plumbing, Outlet, Tool Rental, Pro, Windows & Walls) with emphasis on customer service, product knowledge, vendor coordination, pricing adherence, and utilization of financing options. The position supports in-store customer interactions, inventory monitoring, and ensuring project completion while contributing to a team-focused environment. Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1 year experience in customer-facing sales or 6 months of Lowe’s retail experience (Or 3 years of external experience in customer-facing sales or 18 months of Lowe’s retail experience if education requirement is not met)
- 1 year of experience in sales or customer service in a sales environment with required sales goals or metrics
- Able to Read, write, and perform basic arithmetic
