Job Summary
Sales Specialist in Appliances at Lowe's delivering proactive in-store customer service, assessing customer needs, explaining product specifications, promotions, and financing options, and helping customers achieve home improvement goals; responsible for department duties including processing orders, coordinating installations, inventory support, pricing, and training teammates, within a fast-paced store environment, across departments such as Appliances, Cabinets, Flooring, Live Nursery, and more.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1 year experience in customer-facing sales or 6 months Lowe’s retail experience (Or 3 years of external experience in customer-facing sales or 18 months of Lowe’s retail experience if education requirement is not met)
- 1 year of experience in sales or customer service in a sales environment with required sales goals or metrics
- Able to Read, write, and perform basic arithmetic
- Able to stand and sit for prolonged periods
- Minimally lift 25lbs unassisted or over 25lbs with or without an accommodation
- Obtain sales-related licensure or registration if required by state (Lowe's will support and fund this requirement)
- Preferred Qualifications: 1 year of experience in completing customer sales orders, 1 Year Experience promoting product related services and plans, 2 years of experience designing customized products for customers using 20/20 or CAD
- Bi-lingual skills
