Job Summary

Sales Specialists at Lowe's are active, moving throughout the store or garden center, engaging customers to understand project needs, explain product features, and help close sales. The role involves discussing project requirements, providing estimates and scheduling installer visits, processing and tracking orders/installations, conditioning pricing according to policies, and training department associates. The position supports multiple departments (Appliances, Cabinets, Flooring, Live Nursery, Millwork, Fashion Plumbing, Outlet, Tool Rental, Pro, Windows & Walls) and may involve external accounts in the Pro department, inventory monitoring, and customer service excellence to ensure customer needs are met. Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 1 year experience in customer-facing sales or 6 months of Lowe’s retail experience (or 3 years external sales or 18 months Lowe’s retail if education not met)
  • 1 year of experience in sales or customer service in a sales environment with required sales goals or metrics
  • Able to Read, write, and perform basic arithmetic
  • Able to stand and sit for prolonged periods
  • Minimally lift 25lbs unassisted or over 25lbs with or without accommodation
  • Obtain sales-related licensure or registration if required by state (Lowe's will support)
