Job Summary
Welcome customers to Lowe's and help them find the right products and services for their home improvement needs; provide friendly, professional service, answer questions, guide shopping, and assist with locating merchandise. Responsibilities may include loading merchandise, processing orders and deliveries, replenishing stock, and cross-training in other departments (Appliances, Cabinets, Flooring, Live Nursery, Inside Garden, Hardware, Tools, Millwork, Building Materials, Plumbing, Electrical, Paint, Home Décor, Tool Rental, or Pro Services). Demonstrates customer service skills, helps customers solve home improvement challenges, and supports store operations while adhering to department needs and policies. Qualifications emphasize basic computer skills, familiarity with retail technology, basic arithmetic, and physical ability to lift heavy items; bilingual skills and trade certifications are a plus. The role supports Lowe's benefits and growth programs and may involve varied daily duties across departments.
Required Qualifications
- 6 Months Experience using a computer
- 6 Months Experience using common retail technology
- Reading, writing, and performing basic arithmetic
- Able to perform duties that may require prolonged standing, sitting, and other activities necessary to perform job duties
- Minimally lift 25lbs unassisted or over 25lbs with or without an accommodation
