Job Summary
Welcome customers to Lowe's and help them find the right products and services for their home improvement needs. Welcome, answer questions, assist with locating merchandise, load merchandise when needed, replenish stock, and guide customers through shopping or checkout. Cross-train in other areas of the store to deliver the best customer service. The role may involve assisting in multiple departments (Appliances, Cabinets, Flooring, Live Nursery, Inside Garden, Hardware, Tools, Millwork, Building Materials, Plumbing, Electrical, Paint, Home Décor, Tool Rental, or Pro Services). Pro Services and department-specific tasks such as tinting/mixing paint, cutting/ threading pipe, cutting/bundling wood, and preparing merchandise are included. Must be able to stand for long periods, lift up to 75 pounds with team lifts as needed, and utilize basic retail technology. Preferred qualifications include 6 months of retail/customer service experience, bilingual abilities, and trade-related certifications. Required Qualifications
- 6 Months Experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information
- 6 Months Experience using common retail technology, such as smart phones and tablets
- Reading, writing, and performing basic arithmetic (addition and subtraction)
- Able to perform duties that may require prolonged standing, sitting, and other activities necessary to perform job duties
- Minimally lift 25lbs unassisted or over 25lbs with or without an accommodation
