Job Summary
Welcome customers to Lowe's, answer questions, and deliver friendly, professional service while helping shoppers find the right products for their home improvement needs. Assist customers with locating and handling merchandise, replenish down stock by finding empty shelf areas, and process orders and deliveries accurately. Occasionally load merchandise and prepare items in your department, such as tinting paint, cutting pipes, or bundling wood. Cross-functionally train in other store areas to maintain high service standards and complete other duties as assigned. This role may involve working inside or outside in varying weather conditions, including extreme heat or cold, with occasional travel to meetings or neighboring stores.
Required Qualifications
- 6 Months Experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information
- 6 Months Experience using common retail technology, such as smart phones and tablets
- Reading, writing, and performing basic arithmetic (addition and subtraction)
- Able to perform duties that may require prolonged standing, sitting, and other activities necessary to perform job duties
- Minimally lift 25lbs unassisted or over 25lbs with or without an accommodation
- Bi-lingual skills
Desired Qualifications
- 6 months of Retail and/or customer service experience
- Certification in trade related to department (e.g., hardware, kitchen, plumbing, electrical, lawn and garden, and lumber/building materials)
