Job Summary
Customer Service Associate role at Lowe's focused on helping customers with home improvement needs. Responsibilities include welcoming customers, assisting with locating and selecting products, answering questions, processing orders and deliveries, stocking merchandise, and cross-training in other departments as needed. Requires customer-service skills, ability to operate retail technology, physical ability to lift up to 25–75 pounds, and willingness to assist across departments such as Appliances, Cabinets, Flooring, Live Nursery, Inside Garden, Hardware, Tools, Millwork, Building Materials, Plumbing, Electrical, Paint, Home Décor, Tool Rental, or Pro Services.
Required Qualifications
- 6 Months Experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information
- 6 Months Experience using common retail technology, such as smart phones and tablets
- Reading, writing, and performing basic arithmetic (addition and subtraction)
- Able to perform duties that may require prolonged standing, sitting, and other activities necessary to perform job duties
- Minimally lift 25lbs unassisted or over 25lbs with or without an accommodation
- Travel Requirements: This role does not require regular travel; however, this role may need to travel occasionally to meetings, training, or to support neighboring stores.
