Job Summary
In-store Customer Service and Sales role in Lowe's plumbing area. The associate greets customers, helps them find and select plumbing products, processes orders and deliveries, and supports merchandising across departments as needed. Responsibilities include assisting customers with locating merchandise, stocking shelves, preparing department merchandise (e.g., tinting/mixing paint, cutting/packing items), guiding customers through shopping or checkout, and adapting to department needs. The position emphasizes friendly, professional service, product knowledge in home-improvement specialties, potential cross-training in other areas, and collaboration within the store to deliver high-quality customer service. Required Qualifications
- 6 Months Experience using a computer (inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information)
- 6 Months Experience using common retail technology (e.g., smartphones/tablets)
- Reading, writing, and performing basic arithmetic
- Able to perform duties that require prolonged standing, sitting, and other activities
- Minimally lift 25lbs unassisted or over 25lbs with or without accommodation
- Certification in trade related to department (e.g., hardware, kitchen, plumbing, electrical, etc.) preferred
