Job Summary
As a Customer Service Associate at Lowe's, welcome customers to the store, answer questions, help them find the right products and services for their home improvement needs, and ensure customer needs are met. You will interact with customers, help locate and select products, occasionally load merchandise, and stock/organize shelves. You may work in departments such as Appliances, Cabinets, Flooring, Live Nursery, Inside Garden, Hardware, Tools, Millwork, Building Materials, Plumbing, Electrical, Paint, Home Decor, Tool Rental, or Pro Services. Key tasks include processing orders and deliveries, guiding customers through shopping or checkout, assisting with department-specific duties (e.g., tinting and mixing paint, cutting and threading pipes, cutting drywall or blinds), and cross-training in other areas to deliver strong customer service.
Required Qualifications
- 6 Months Experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information
- 6 Months Experience using common retail technology, such as smart phones and tablets
- Reading, writing, and performing basic arithmetic
- Able to perform duties that may require prolonged standing, sitting, and other activities necessary to perform job duties
- Minimally lift 25lbs unassisted or over 25lbs with or without an accommodation
