Job Summary
Customer Service Associate at Lowe's supporting various departments (Appliances, Cabinets, Flooring, Live Nursery, Inside Garden, Hardware, Tools, Millwork, Building Materials, Plumbing, Electrical, Paint, Home Décor, Tool Rental, Pro Services). Welcomes customers, assists in locating and selecting merchandise, loads merchandise when needed, processes orders and deliveries, replenishes stock, and provides friendly, professional service. Daily duties include listening to customers, answering questions, guiding shopping or checkout, and cross-training across departments to ensure excellent service. Demonstrates product knowledge across home improvement categories and participates in department-specific tasks such as tinting/mixing paint, cutting/threading pipes, cutting drywall, and preparing merchandise to meet customer needs.
Required Qualifications
- 6 Months Experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information
- 6 Months Experience using common retail technology, such as smart phones and tablets
- Reading, writing, and performing basic arithmetic
- Able to perform duties that may require prolonged standing, sitting, and other activities necessary to perform job duties
- Minimally lift 25lbs unassisted or over 25lbs with or without an accommodation
