Job Summary
As a Customer Service Associate at Lowe's in the Plumbing department, you will welcome customers, assist them in finding and selecting plumbing-related products, answer questions, and provide friendly, professional service. You may help locate and handle merchandise, replenish stock, process orders and deliveries, and support customers throughout their shopping experience. You may cross-train in other store areas to help deliver the best customer service, and you may assist with department-specific tasks such as tinting/mixing paint, cutting and threading pipe, and packaging materials as needed. The role supports a variety of home-improvement needs across departments and offers opportunities to grow skills and participate in Lowe's benefits and development programs.
Required Qualifications
- 6 Months Experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information
- 6 Months Experience using common retail technology, such as smart phones and tablets
- Reading, writing, and performing basic arithmetic
- Able to perform duties that may require prolonged standing, sitting, and other activities necessary to perform job duties
- Minimally lift 25lbs unassisted or over 25lbs with or without an accommodation
- Bi-lingual skills (preferred)
- Certification in trade related to department (e.g., hardware, kitchen, plumbing, electrical, lawn and garden, and lumber/building materials) (preferred)
