Job Summary
Customer Service Associate at Lowe's: welcome customers, help them locate the right products and services for home improvement, answer questions, and deliver friendly, professional service. Responsibilities include assisting with locating and handling merchandise, restocking shelves, processing orders and deliveries, cross-training in other areas to improve customer service, preparing department merchandise (e.g., tint and mix paint, cut and thread pipe, cut and bundle wood, cut drywall, cut blinds), guiding customers through shopping or checkout, and performing other duties as assigned. Role spans multiple departments (Appliances, Cabinets, Flooring, Live Nursery, Inside Garden, Hardware, Tools, Millwork, Building Materials, Plumbing, Electrical, Paint, Home Décor, Tool Rental, Pro Services).
Required Qualifications
- 6 Months Experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information
- 6 Months Experience using common retail technology, such as smart phones and tablets
- Reading, writing, and performing basic arithmetic
- Able to perform duties that may require prolonged standing, sitting, and other activities necessary to perform job duties
- Minimally lift 25lbs unassisted or over 25lbs with or without an accommodation
