Job Summary
As a Customer Service Associate at Lowe's, you will welcome customers and help them find the right products and services for their home improvement needs. You will interact with customers throughout the day, assist with locating and handling merchandise, down stock merchandise, process orders and deliveries accurately, and may cross-train in other areas of the store to ensure excellent customer service. Department assignments may include Appliances, Cabinets, Flooring, Live Nursery, Inside Garden, Hardware, Tools, Millwork, Building Materials, Plumbing, Electrical, Paint, Home Décor, Tool Rental, or Pro Services. The role emphasizes friendly, professional service, assisting customers with product selection, and supporting store operations.
Required Qualifications
- 6 Months Experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information
- 6 Months Experience using common retail technology, such as smart phones and tablets
- Reading, writing, and performing basic arithmetic (addition and subtraction)
- Able to perform duties that may require prolonged standing, sitting, and other activities necessary to perform job duties
- Minimally lift 25lbs unassisted or over 25lbs with or without an accommodation
- Preferred Qualifications 6 months of Retail and/or customer service experience
- Bi-lingual skills
- Certification in trade related to department (e.g., hardware, kitchen, plumbing, electrical, lawn and garden, and lumber/building materials)
