Job Summary
Welcome customers, answer product questions, and assist shoppers in finding and selecting home improvement items. Replenish down stock by locating empty shelf areas and process orders and deliveries accurately. Prepare merchandise in your department, including tinting and mixing paint, cutting wood, or bundling materials. Cross-functionally train in other store areas and complete other duties as assigned. This Paint department role supports Lowe's mission to help customers solve home improvement challenges.
Required Qualifications
- 6 Months Experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information
- 6 Months Experience using common retail technology, such as smart phones and tablets
- Reading, writing, and performing basic arithmetic (addition and subtraction)
- Able to perform duties that may require prolonged standing, sitting, and other activities necessary to perform job duties
- Minimally lift 25lbs unassisted or over 25lbs with or without an accommodation
- Travel occasionally to meetings, training, or to support neighboring stores
Desired Qualifications
- 6 months of Retail and/or customer service experience
- Bi-lingual skills
- Certification in trade related to department (e.g., hardware, kitchen, plumbing, electrical, lawn and garden, and lumber/building materials)
