Full Time - Sales Associate - Paint - Closing

Job Summary
Welcome customers, answer questions, and deliver friendly, professional service while helping them find products for home improvement needs. Assist with locating and handling merchandise, replenish down stock by identifying empty shelf areas, and process orders and deliveries accurately. Occasionally load merchandise and prepare department-specific tasks such as tinting and mixing paint, cutting pipe, bundling wood, or cutting drywall. Cross-functionally train in other store areas to support overall service delivery. Complete other duties as assigned. This role may involve working in both inside and outside weather conditions, including extreme heat or cold.
Required Qualifications
- 6 Months Experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information
- 6 Months Experience using common retail technology, such as smart phones and tablets
- Reading, writing, and performing basic arithmetic (addition and subtraction)
- Able to perform duties that may require prolonged standing, sitting, and other activities necessary to perform job duties
- Minimally lift 25lbs unassisted or over 25lbs with or without an accommodation
- Travel occasionally to meetings, training, or to support neighboring stores
Desired Qualifications
- 6 months of Retail and/or customer service experience
- Bi-lingual skills
- Certification in trade related to department (e.g., hardware, kitchen, plumbing, electrical, lawn and garden, and lumber/building materials)
