Job Summary
Customer Service Associate at Lowe's providing friendly, professional assistance. You will welcome customers, help them find the right products and services for their home improvement needs, and interact with customers throughout the day. Responsibilities include assisting customers with locating and selecting merchandise, stocking shelves, processing orders and deliveries, cross-training in other areas, preparing department merchandise (e.g., tint and mix paint, cut and thread pipe, cut wood, cut drywall, cut blinds), guiding customers through shopping or checkout, and performing other duties as assigned. This role may involve loading merchandise and ensuring customer needs are met across departments such as Appliances, Cabinets, Flooring, Live Nursery, Inside Garden, Hardware, Tools, Millwork, Building Materials, Plumbing, Electrical, Paint, Home Décor, Tool Rental, or Pro Services; prior experience with computers and retail technology, basic arithmetic, and the ability to stand for extended periods are required.
Required Qualifications
- 6 Months Experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information
- 6 Months Experience using common retail technology, such as smart phones and tablets
- Reading, writing, and performing basic arithmetic (addition and subtraction)
- Able to perform duties that may require prolonged standing, sitting, and other activities necessary to perform job duties
- Minimally lift 25lbs unassisted or over 25lbs with or without an accommodation
