Job Summary
Customer Service Associate at Lowe's welcomes customers, helps them find the right products and services for home improvement needs, answers questions, assists with locating and handling merchandise, stocks merchandise on shelves, replenishes supplies, processes orders and deliveries, and may cross-train in other departments (Appliances, Cabinets, Flooring, Live Nursery, Inside Garden, Hardware, Tools, Millwork, Building Materials, Plumbing, Electrical, Paint, Home Décor, Tool Rental, or Pro Services) to deliver the best customer service. Daily duties include guiding customers through shopping or checkout, preparing department merchandise (e.g., tint/mix paint, cut/thread pipe, cut wood, cut drywall, cut blinds), and performing duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- 6 Months Experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information
- 6 Months Experience using common retail technology, such as smart phones and tablets
- Reading, writing, and performing basic arithmetic (addition and subtraction)
- Able to perform duties that may require prolonged standing, sitting, and other activities necessary to perform job duties
- Minimally lift 25lbs unassisted or over 25lbs with or without an accommodation
