Job Summary
Customer Service Associate at Lowe's who welcomes customers, helps them find and select products, and provides friendly, professional assistance across departments (Appliances, Cabinets, Flooring, Live Nursery, Inside Garden, Hardware, Tools, Millwork, Building Materials, Plumbing, Electrical, Paint, Home Décor, Tool Rental, or Pro Services). Responsibilities include greeting customers, answering questions, locating and handling merchandise, stocking shelves, processing orders and deliveries, cross-training in other areas to deliver excellent service, and preparing department merchandise based on customer needs (e.g., tint/mix paint, cut/thread pipe, cut/build materials). The role emphasizes customer care, product knowledge, and contributing to a positive shopping experience.
Required Qualifications
- 6 Months Experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information
- 6 Months Experience using common retail technology, such as smart phones and tablets
- Reading, writing, and performing basic arithmetic (addition and subtraction)
- Able to perform duties that may require prolonged standing, sitting, and other activities necessary to perform job duties
- Minimally lift 25lbs unassisted or over 25lbs with or without an accommodation
