Job Summary
Drive store sales goals by selling furniture, accessories, and services while executing the La-Z-Boy selling process to provide a favorable customer experience. Create long-term relationships through needs discovery, customized portfolio presentations, and follow-up, and design professional home consultations to present room designs and installation benefits. Maintain strong product knowledge, manage store operations including opening/closing and visual displays, and accurately complete daily On-Point system logs. Support the Design program, handle customer inquiries and complaints, and train new peers on sales skills and product information.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Ability to lift and/or carry up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Ability to pass background and drug screen
- Ability to work the schedule and hours dictated by business needs
- Ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays as required
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
Desired Qualifications
- Previous selling experience and ability to close a sale
- Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field
