Job Summary
Welcome customers to Lowe's, answer questions, and deliver friendly, professional service while helping shoppers locate and select home improvement products. Assist with merchandise handling, down stock shelves by replenishing supplies, and process orders and deliveries accurately. Prepare department-specific merchandise such as tinting paint, cutting pipe, or bundling wood based on customer needs. Cross-functionally train in other store areas to support overall service quality. Complete other duties as assigned. This role rotates through departments including Inside Garden, Hardware, and Tools.
Required Qualifications
- 6 Months Experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information
- 6 Months Experience using common retail technology, such as smart phones and tablets
- Reading, writing, and performing basic arithmetic (addition and subtraction)
- Able to perform duties that may require prolonged standing, sitting, and other activities necessary to perform job duties
- Minimally lift 25lbs unassisted or over 25lbs with or without an accommodation
Desired Qualifications
- 6 months of Retail and/or customer service experience
- Bi-lingual skills
- Certification in trade related to department (e.g., hardware, kitchen, plumbing, electrical, lawn and garden, and lumber/building materials)
