Job Summary
Customer Service Associate at Lowe's for Inside Lawn & Garden. You will welcome customers, help them find products and services for home improvement, assist with locating and handling merchandise, process orders and deliveries, and cross-train across departments to deliver top customer service. Daily duties may include assisting in departments such as Appliances, Cabinets, Flooring, Live Nursery, Inside Garden, Hardware, Tools, Millwork, Building Materials, Plumbing, Electrical, Paint, Home Décor, Tool Rental, or Pro Services, and may involve tinting/mixing paint, cutting and bundling materials, and ensuring shelves are stocked. The role emphasizes listening to customers, answering questions, organizing merchandise, and supporting store operations with flexible responsibilities across departments.
Required Qualifications
- 6 Months Experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information
- 6 Months Experience using common retail technology, such as smart phones and tablets
- Reading, writing, and performing basic arithmetic (addition and subtraction)
- Able to perform duties that may require prolonged standing, sitting, and other activities necessary to perform job duties
- Minimally lift 25lbs unassisted or over 25lbs with or without an accommodation
- Bi-lingual skills
- Certification in trade related to department (e.g., hardware, kitchen, plumbing, electrical, lawn and garden, and lumber/building materials)
