Job Summary
As a Full Time Sales Associate in the Hardware department, you will Welcome customers to Lowe's, help them find and select hardware products, assist with locating and handling merchandise, and process orders and deliveries accurately. You will stock shelves, replenish supplies, and possibly load merchandise, while assisting customers across departments such as Appliances, Cabinets, Flooring, Live Nursery, Inside Garden, and Pro Services. You will engage with customers to solve home-improvement challenges, participate in cross-functional training to deliver excellent service, and support store operations by preparing merchandise for customer needs (e.g., tinting paint, cutting pipes, trimming drywall). You may assist across departments as needed and contribute to a positive shopping experience through friendly, professional customer service and problem-solving. You will work with teamwork and flexibility, and may take advantage of Lowe's benefits and growth opportunities while fulfilling daily responsibilities and duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- 6 Months Experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information
- 6 Months Experience using common retail technology, such as smart phones and tablets
- Reading, writing, and performing basic arithmetic
- Able to perform duties that may require prolonged standing, sitting, and other activities necessary to perform job duties
- Minimally lift 25lbs unassisted or over 25lbs with or without an accommodation
