Job Summary
Customer Service Associate at Lowe's focuses on welcoming customers, helping them find products across departments (Appliances, Cabinets, Flooring, Live Nursery, Inside Garden, Hardware, Tools, Millwork, Building Materials, Plumbing, Electrical, Paint, Home Décor, Tool Rental, or Pro Services), answering questions, locating merchandise, restocking, processing orders and deliveries, and delivering friendly, professional service. The role supports customers throughout the shopping experience, with opportunities to cross-train in other areas and participate in department-based tasks like tinting/mixing paint, cutting and threading pipes, cutting drywall, and preparing department merchandise. The position emphasizes helping customers solve home improvement challenges and providing high-quality service in a retail environment.
Required Qualifications
- 6 Months Experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information
- 6 Months Experience using common retail technology, such as smart phones and tablets
- Reading, writing, and performing basic arithmetic (addition and subtraction)
- Able to perform duties that may require prolonged standing, sitting, and other activities necessary to perform job duties
- Minimally lift 25lbs unassisted or over 25lbs with or without an accommodation
- 6 months of Retail and/or customer service experience
- Bi-lingual skills
- Certification in trade related to department (e.g., hardware, kitchen, plumbing, electrical, lawn and garden, and lumber/building materials)
