Job Summary
As a Customer Service Associate at Lowe's, you welcome customers and help them find the right products and services for their home improvement needs. You will interact with customers throughout the day, assist with locating and handling merchandise, stock shelves, and process orders and deliveries accurately. You may cross-train in other areas to deliver the best service, and you may tint/paint, cut and bundle materials, or assist with department-specific tasks. The role emphasizes friendly and professional customer service, assisting with product selection across departments such as Appliances, Cabinets, Flooring, Live Nursery, Inside Garden, Hardware, Tools, Millwork, Building Materials, Plumbing, Electrical, Paint, Home Décor, Tool Rental, or Pro Services. Preferred qualifications include 6 months of retail or customer service experience, bilingual abilities, and trade-related certifications. Required Qualifications
- 6 Months Experience using a computer
- 6 Months Experience using common retail technology
- Reading, writing, and performing basic arithmetic
- Able to perform duties that may require prolonged standing, sitting, and other activities necessary to perform job duties
- Minimally lift 25lbs unassisted or over 25lbs with or without an accommodation
- Bi-lingual skills (preferred)
- Certification in trade related to department (preferred)
