Job Summary
Welcome customers to Lowe's and help them find the right products and services for their home improvement needs. Drive friendly, professional customer service, assist with locating merchandise, load/stock merchandise, process orders and deliveries accurately, answer questions, and guide customers through shopping or checkout. Cross-train in other departments to deliver the best service; department-specific duties may include tasks such as tinting and mixing paint, cutting and threading pipe, cutting drywall, blinds, or other department-related responsibilities. This role involves standing for extended periods, assisting customers, and ensuring customer needs are met while working in a retail environment. The position supports a range of departments (Appliances, Cabinets, Flooring, Live Nursery, Inside Garden, Hardware, Tools, Millwork, Building Materials, Plumbing, Electrical, Paint, Home Décor, Tool Rental, or Pro Services) with flexibility in responsibilities and opportunities for growth, and Lowe's emphasizes customer care, teamwork, and ongoing skill development.
Required Qualifications
- 6 Months Experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information
- 6 Months Experience using common retail technology, such as smart phones and tablets
- Reading, writing, and performing basic arithmetic (addition and subtraction)
- Able to perform duties that may require prolonged standing, sitting, and other activities necessary to perform job duties
- Minimally lift 25lbs unassisted or over 25lbs with or without an accommodation
