Job Summary
Customer Service Associate at Lowe's: Welcome customers, help them find products and services for home improvement, answer questions, and deliver friendly, professional service. Responsibilities include assisting customers in locating merchandise, restocking shelves, processing orders and deliveries, and cross-training in other store areas (Appliances, Cabinets, Flooring, Live Nursery, Inside Garden, Hardware, Tools, Millwork, Building Materials, Plumbing, Electrical, Paint, Home Décor, Tool Rental, Pro Services). The role emphasizes listening to customers, guiding shopping, preparing department merchandise (e.g., tinting/mixing paint, cutting and threading pipes, cutting wood, drywall, blinds), and performing other duties as assigned. Minimum qualifications include basic computer and retail technology experience, basic literacy and arithmetic, ability to stand/sit for extended periods, and able to lift 25lbs+. Preferred qualifications include retail/customer service experience, bilingual skills, and trade-certifications related to the department. Travel is not required and work conditions vary by location. Required Qualifications
- 6 Months Experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information
- 6 Months Experience using common retail technology, such as smart phones and tablets
- Reading, writing, and performing basic arithmetic
- Able to perform duties that may require prolonged standing, sitting, and other activities necessary to perform job duties
- Minimally lift 25lbs unassisted or over 25lbs with or without an accommodation
