Job Summary
Customer Service Associate at Lowe's: Welcome customers to Lowe's and help them find the right products and services for their home improvement needs. Interact with customers throughout the day, answer questions, organize merchandise, load merchandise when needed, process orders and deliveries, replenish shelves, and cross-train in other areas to deliver the best customer service. Department assignments include Appliances, Cabinets, Flooring, Live Nursery, Inside Garden, Hardware, Tools, Millwork, Building Materials, Plumbing, Electrical, Paint, Home Décor, Tool Rental, or Pro Services. Responsibilities also include guiding customers through shopping or checkout and performing duties as assigned. Emphasizes using basic computer and retail tech, stocking, and assisting customers with product selections and solutions.
Required Qualifications
- 6 Months Experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information
- 6 Months Experience using common retail technology, such as smart phones and tablets
- Reading, writing, and performing basic arithmetic (addition and subtraction)
- Able to perform duties that may require prolonged standing, sitting, and other activities necessary to perform job duties
- Minimally lift 25lbs unassisted or over 25lbs with or without an accommodation
