Job Summary
Customer Service Associate at Lowe's welcome customers, help them find products and services for home improvement, assist with locating and handling merchandise, process orders and deliveries, stock replenishment, and cross-train in other departments to ensure excellent service. Works across departments such as Appliances, Cabinets, Flooring, Live Nursery, Inside Garden, Hardware, Tools, Millwork, Building Materials, Plumbing, Electrical, Paint, Home Décor, Tool Rental, or Pro Services; responsibilities emphasize listening to customers, answering questions, guiding shopping or checkout, and adapting to department needs. Requires basic computer and retail-technology skills, ability to stand for extended periods, and lifting up to 25 lbs unassisted (or more with assistance).
Required Qualifications
- 6 Months experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information
- 6 Months experience using common retail technology, such as smartphones and tablets
- Reading, writing, and performing basic arithmetic
- Able to perform duties that may require prolonged standing, sitting, and other activities necessary to perform job duties
- Minimally lift 25lbs unassisted or over 25lbs with or without an accommodation
