Job Summary
Customer Service Associate at Lowe's engages customers, welcomes them to the store, helps them find products and services, assists with locating and handling merchandise, processes orders and deliveries, and may load merchandise. The role includes cross-training in other areas to deliver strong customer service, assisting across departments such as Appliances, Cabinets, Flooring, Live Nursery, Inside Garden, Hardware, Tools, Millwork, Building Materials, Plumbing, Electrical, Paint, Home Décor, Tool Rental, or Pro Services, and performing duties like stocking shelves, tinting/mixing paint, cutting/packaging materials, and guiding customers through checkout. Emphasis on listening to customers, answering questions, organizing merchandise, and delivering friendly, professional service, with opportunities for growth, training, and benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum Qualifications 6 Months Experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information
- 6 Months Experience using common retail technology, such as smart phones and tablets
- Reading, writing, and performing basic arithmetic (addition and subtraction)
- Able to perform duties that may require prolonged standing, sitting, and other activities necessary to perform job duties
- Minimally lift 25lbs unassisted or over 25lbs with or without an accommodation
