Job Summary
As a Customer Service/ Sales Associate at Lowe's, welcome customers, help them find the right products and services for home improvement, answer questions, assist with locating and handling merchandise, stock replenishment, process orders and deliveries, and participate in cross-training across departments (Appliances, Cabinets, Flooring, Live Nursery, Inside Garden, Hardware, Tools, Millwork, Building Materials, Plumbing, Electrical, Paint, Home Décor, Tool Rental, or Pro Services) to deliver friendly, professional service and meet customer needs. Responsibilities include guiding customers through shopping or checkout, providing product knowledge, aiding with loading/handling merchandise, and performing other duties as assigned. Preferred qualifications include 6 months of retail or customer service experience, bilingual skills, and trade certifications related to department areas; travel is not a regular requirement. Required Qualifications
- 6 Months Experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information
- 6 Months Experience using common retail technology, such as smart phones and tablets
- Reading, writing, and performing basic arithmetic (addition and subtraction)
- Able to perform duties that may require prolonged standing, sitting, and other activities necessary to perform job duties
- Minimally lift 25lbs unassisted or over 25lbs with or without an accommodation
