Job Summary
Customer Service Associate at Lowe's handling customer inquiries across departments, helping customers locate and select products for home improvement, processing orders and deliveries accurately, stocking and organizing merchandise, and engaging with customers to solve their needs. Responsibilities include welcoming customers, assisting with product selection, loading merchandise when needed, cross-training in other areas to deliver excellent service, and delivering friendly, professional customer service in a retail environment across departments such as Appliances, Cabinets, Flooring, Live Nursery, Inside Garden, Hardware, Tools, Millwork, Building Materials, Plumbing, Electrical, Paint, Home Décor, Tool Rental, or Pro Services. Key tasks emphasize helping customers find the right products, answering questions, guiding them through shopping or checkout, and maintaining merchandise readiness.
Required Qualifications
- 6 Months Experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information
- 6 Months Experience using common retail technology, such as smart phones and tablets
- Reading, writing, and performing basic arithmetic (addition and subtraction)
- Able to perform duties that may require prolonged standing, sitting, and other activities necessary to perform job duties
- Minimally lift 25lbs unassisted or over 25lbs with or without an accommodation
